On February 10, 2024, I attended what appeared to be a rather anodyne pro-Palestinian demonstration in Brooklyn. I left for about half an hour. When I returned, I encountered a number of demonstrators who had been detained by the police.

I spent Saturday at a rally outside the Brooklyn Museum, followed by a march that shut down the Brooklyn Bridge. By far the most newsworthy aspect of the day was the Hassidic Jews who marched with the Palestinian Community because the they believe Israel is in the wrong.
