On July 17, 2025, I attended the Good Trouble Lives On demonstration in Philadelphia. Its focus was on civil and human rights, which is appropriate given the nod to the late civil rights icone and Congressman John Lewis’ pet phrase, “Good Trouble.” Here are my thoughts about and images from the demonstration.

Remembering
Before Donald J. Trump’s vanity parade this past Saturday, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund held its annual In Memory Day ceremony. Rather than holding it at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall on the National Mall, VVMF was forced by the Secret Service to move the ceremony to Alexandria, Virginia.
