Once again, I was on 6th Avenue in New York City’s Greenwich Village for the annual Village Halloween Parade, where over one million spectators and participants joined me, everyone of us seeking a brief respite from the two-year lead-up to next Tuesday’s presidential election. Here are my thoughts about and observations from the festive evening.
I spent Saturday at a rally outside the Brooklyn Museum, followed by a march that shut down the Brooklyn Bridge. By far the most newsworthy aspect of the day was the Hassidic Jews who marched with the Palestinian Community because the they believe Israel is in the wrong. Here are my thoughts about what was a very tiring day, as well as the images I captured.
I spent four mornings checking out the WGA, SAG, AFTRA strike in New York City this week. It was then off to an afternoon of tea and cake. Here are my thoughts about and images from the writers’ and actors’ strike.
