Backward
Sometimes your best shot is behind you. I was standing outside a restaurant, looking toward the Eiffel Tower, which is probably one of the most photographed structures in the world. Evelyn saw what I was up to, and said, look at the reflection in the restaurant's front door. Once again, the reflected scene was more interesting than the real deal. It seems that the tower is reproduced twice, with one variant slightly overlapping the other. An interesting graphic.
I am in the 16th Arrondissement (de Passy) headed toward the Seine. When I return to Chicago, I will probably rework this photograph. I need a properly calibrated and larger monitor to deal with some of the detail in the lower half of the photograph.
