On Sunday, February 27, 2022, somewhere around 1,000 demonstrators in Chicago turned out in response to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s brazen attack on Ukraine. Here are Jack B. Siegel’s thoughts and images from the protest in Ukrainian Village.
I am pleased to present my first virtual reality exhibit of selected works from my Kenosha, Wisconsin: Aftermath series. I have now made five trips to Kenosha, exploring and photographing the aftermath of the Jacob Blake shooting.
Senator Bernie Sanders brought his presidential campaign to Chicago on March 7, 2020 for a massive rally in Chicago's Grant Park. Somewhere between 10,000 and 15,000 supporters participated in the afternoon rally. Sanders spoke for 35 minutes. He relied heavily on well-worn phrases and proposals, including Medicare for all, immigration reform, and elimination of student debt.

I arrived shortly after the 10AM opening. The first floor was already packed, with people looking for bargains and gems.
