All in Cityscapes
I recently spent five days in New York City, Brooklyn, and Queens. I visited Wave Hill in Riverdale, Little Italy for the San Gennarro Festival, Chinatown, the Brooklyn Bridge Greenway, Pier 3, Estuary Brooklyn, Long Island City, Brooklyn Heights, and Williamsburg. Here is my commentary and the images I captured.
I had the opportunity to watch the 23rd Annual cannoli easting contest today in New York’s Little Italy. The contest was part of the 95th Annual Feast of San Gennaro. Here is my commentary, as well as my images from the festivities.
On a December Saturday morning the week before Christmas, Bologna was all about piercing winter light, which was my favorite thing about my two and half day stay in this highly underrated Italian city. But I also thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Cerotosa di Bologna and walking the streets.
