Oddities
In the summer, New York is filled with reflections, shadows, and shiny glass. A photographer could spend an entire summer searching for photographs.
The restaurant at the new Met Breuer is unfinished, which is appropriate because the inaugural exhibit is Unfinished: Thoughts Left Visible. When is a work finished? And what happens when a patron withdraws a commission or an artist dies mid-stroke?
Feeling a little peckish, I opted for a ginger cookie and ice tea from the refreshment cart temporary parked in the lower courtyard.
